Meet Adamko

Adamko is Lettr’s in-app AI assistant. He lives in a chat drawer on the right side of the dashboard and can do real work in your account: generate a brand kit from your website, scaffold branded transactional templates, draft campaigns, create sending domains and API keys, diagnose DNS and deliverability problems, review contact imports, and walk you through any page of the app step by step. He’s not a generic chatbot bolted onto the product. Every answer comes from live data in your account — your domains, your campaigns, your event history — and every change he makes is recorded in an activity log where you can undo it.

Where to Find Him

There are two ways to open Adamko, and both lead to the same chat drawer:

• The Ask Adamko avatar button in the top-right header bar, next to the notification bell
• The Ask Adamko card at the bottom of the left sidebar, just above the team switcher

The drawer slides in from the right and stays open while you navigate — you can move between pages mid-conversation and Adamko keeps the thread. For brand-new accounts, the drawer opens on its own the first time you sign in and offers to set everything up; once you close it, it never auto-opens again.

What He Can Do

He also answers questions — about your account (“what’s my bounce rate this week?”), about Lettr (“how do merge tags work?”), and about email in general (“what’s a good re-engagement cadence?”). When the answer lives in the documentation, he searches it and cites the article so you can read more.

What He Can’t Do

Adamko is deliberately conservative about actions with real-world consequences. He will never:

• Send an email or campaign — sending is always your click
• Schedule a send or set reminders
• Create or edit segments, lists, or topics on his own (he suggests them and hands you off to the builder; the one exception is import mapping, which always shows you a preview to confirm first)
• Invite teammates or change roles
• Change DNS records at your registrar — he tells you exactly what to add, but the registrar stays yours
• Reveal an existing API key — keys are shown once at creation and are unrecoverable afterwards, even by Adamko
• Read files in the chat — a dropped CSV goes straight to the importer; Adamko only sees the analysis, never the raw file

Talking to Adamko

Type into the box at the bottom of the drawer and press Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line). A few things worth knowing:

• You can interrupt him. While he’s answering, a stop button appears next to Send. Stopping keeps the text generated so far and frees the composer immediately.
• You can queue messages. Sending while he’s still working queues the message and delivers it when the current reply finishes.
• Suggestion chips above the input offer relevant next questions after each reply — they change based on where you are in the app and how far your setup has come.
• Answers are copyable. Hover any reply for a copy button, and click any inline code value (like a DNS record) to copy just that value.
• Conversations are per team. Switching teams starts a fresh thread. The trash icon in the header clears your history for the current team at any time.

Adamko understands and replies in your language — write to him in Czech, German, Japanese, or whatever you prefer.
