The Event Timeline (Left Panel)
The left panel lists every event associated with this message in chronological order. Each entry shows a color-coded badge for the event type and the timestamp when it occurred. Click on any event in the list to load its details in the right panel. By default, the most recent event is selected. This means when you first open Message Details, you’re looking at the latest thing that happened to the message — which is usually what you want when troubleshooting. If new events occur after you’ve loaded the page (for example, if you’re watching a recently sent email and waiting for a delivery confirmation), click the Refresh Events button at the top of the page to reload the timeline without navigating away.Message Summary
At the top of the right panel, you’ll see a summary card with four key pieces of information about the email:- From — The sender address as it appeared in the email, including any display name (e.g.,
Acme Team <hello@acme.com>). - Subject — The subject line of the email.
- To — The recipient address.
- ID — The message ID, which is a unique identifier assigned to this specific email. You can copy it using the copy button next to it. This ID is useful if you need to reference this message in support tickets or when correlating with other systems.
